Hi, there! We're the Ray fam: Troy, Amberlee, Trey, Rylee, and Eli. We are an extremely close knit family and we love to spend time together. We have home schooled our boys from day one and farmed for the past 12 years.

 

We have raised various species of animals over the years in addition to producing different kinds of hays. In late 2017, we moved into our forever home (and farm). With the move came big plans and dreams for our farm. It took us several years to get started, but we have been going strong with our plans now since 2020.

 

When we moved here, we knew we wanted to grow a garden and sell at the local farmers markets. We have always grown a garden but nothing on the scale that we wanted now. Countless hours were spent researching and planning. When equipment was purchased it started to get real. Trees came down and land was plowed until we had a good place for a garden spot. This was all before we had our greenhouse up, so all seeds were started in our house in the sunroom and garage. It was kinda crowded around here for a while!

 

We are now through our second year of growing a market garden and have continuously been planning for next year as we learn from our mistakes this year. We added free range chickens to our list of products last season and more recently added pasture raised beef. We will have pastured pork on the menu soon!
